Go is among the oldest games of mankind, dating back perhaps 4,000 years. It is easy to learn, difficult to master, and enjoyable after about 5-10 games played in total confusion. One of the best things about it is that the handicapping system does not detract from the game at all, so that players of disparate abilities can play enjoyable, close, and combative games---thus an ideal game for couples.
